Engineering services available at Strange Attractor Records

Strange Attractor Records offers our recording, mixing, and mastering services to our own bands and artists, as well as to other bands and artists not signed with us.

Our head engineer, Danniielle O'Connor, has four decades of experience, and our studio is well equipped with high quality gear from well respected manufacturers such as RME, Lexicon, TC Electronic, AKG, Soundfield, Rode, Aston, Beyerdynamic, Moog, Roland, Yamaha, Korg, Ensoniq, Revox, Sound Devices, JLM Audio, Electrovoice, Lucid, CM Labs, Aphex, MOTU, dbx, Akai, Second Sound, Sony, Teac/Tascam, and more.

Our focus is on audio quality and dynamics first and foremost. We prioritise quality over loudness, never compromising the former for the latter. The dynamic range available from modern, high quality recording systems affords the creation of incredible sounding songs and albums, and we take full advantage of that. We are not participants in the LOUDNESS WARS where everything is relentlessly LOUD ALL THE TIME and VERY fatiguing to listen to. Our mastering services retain all the exciting dynamics of our original live and studio recordings and are incredibly expressive and energising to listen to.

But don't just take our word for it. Head on over to our Bandcamp label page and have a listen. Let our releases speak for themselves.
