About Strange Attractor Records

A "strange attractor" is a term used in fractal science to describe the unique and infinitely repeating geometric patterns in fractals. These strange attractor patterns link the fractals together just as our unique DNA forms the foundations of our physical bodies and can be found in every living cell we contain.

Strange Attractor Records is all about interdimensional, cosmic music and attracting those who operate beyond the perceived limits of the third dimension. We are anything but typical... we are strange in a wonderful way!

Strange Attractor Records is an attractor for the beautiful, creative, free thinking, interdimensional souls who are the leaders on the cutting edge of cosmic transformation.

Band / Artist Biographies

Pulse Eternal was founded by Danniielle O'Connor in 2019, and is the result of a journey into music composition that began in 1984 with a Roland Juno 6 synthesizer, a Studiomaster Studio 4 cassette multitrack and an Akai 4000DS open reel tape deck. Since then, the Pulse Eternal studio has grown to include a vast array of synthesizers, analog step sequencers, guitars, organs, pianos, drums, percussion instruments, brass, high end recording systems and a full 3D, Ambisonic recording and mixing setup.

Danniielle originally intended Pulse Eternal to be her solo project but it has evolved into something much bigger, incorporating collaboration with many amazing and talented contributing artists over the years.

The nucleus of Pulse Eternal is Danniielle O'Connor and Lyndon Kriss. Danniielle and Lyndon have been close friends for three decades and have worked on many projects together during that time, having first met in Lyndon's studio in the mid 1990s. The creative musical chemistry between them is something they both cherish very deeply.

The music of Pulse Eternal is inspired by electronic music pioneers such as Jean-Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream and Kraftwerk as well as progressive rock and pop groups and artists such as Supertramp, Pink Floyd, Genesis, Mike Oldfield, The Beatles and many others.

If you can picture the pulsing lights of the Moog 960 sequencers and huge modular synthesizer systems of Tangerine Dream in the mid to late 70s, then add in drums, bass, guitars, piano, percussion, orchestral and jazz instrumentation and esoteric instruments from various indigenous cultures around the world, the bigger picture of the Pulse Eternal band emerges.

The SuperPuss Electronic Music Project, AKA SuperPuss EMP, is a vibrant, high energy, electronic music duo consisting of Danniielle O'Connor and Fabian Caporaso.

The SuperPuss concept was originally conceived in the early 2000s, but has only recently taken full flight when Danniielle and Fabian began jamming together late in 2024. The musical chemistry between this cosmic duo flowed effortlessly, and the decision was made to begin recording together in the Strange Attractor Records studio. Since then, they have performed numerous live shows, and released two albums; the first being a live album in association with Adelaide group, One Tribe, and the second is their first studio album, Chase the Dot.

The duo performed live for Dancing Room at Henley Beach on Tuesday the 6th of January, 2026 to a very enthusiastic and receptive audience. This show was filmed with four cameras and a multitrack recording was made. A brand new live album and video is currently being prepared for release.

Right now, Fabian and Dannii are busy being creative in the Strange Attractor Records studio, rehearsing for their upcoming Adelaide Fringe performance on Friday the 27th of February, 2026 at Carclew House. This performance will be part of the Celestial Gardens 'Secret Sound of Plants' series of events created and hosted by Sacred Resonance.

The core of One Tribe is a fusion Of Mary Grace's flute, percussion, and angelic vocals, and Danny Greco's shamanic didgeridoo, medicine drum, Native American flutes, acoustic guitar, harmonica, and percussion. They are frequently complimented by a dynamic and diverse lineup of additional musicians sharing their cosmic connection and inspiration.

Along with her role as the founding member of both Pulse Eternal, and The SuperPuss Electronic Music Project, Danniielle O'Connor has a number of solo works released and in progress.

Her solo work is an interpretive journey into the of the fusion of classical and jazz styles combined with a deep rooted love of Berlin School style electronic music.

Her primary influences for her solo work include Tangerine Dream, Jean-Michel Jarre, Mike Oldfield, Vangelis, Isao Tomita, Pink Floyd, Kraftwerk, Kitaro, Georgio Moroder, Hans Zimmer, and numerous others.

From humble beginnings in 1984, she has steadily built up a vast array of instruments to craft her unique take on the world of cosmic, interdimensional, electronic music.

She blends vintage analog and digital synthesizers ,samplers, step sequencers, 5U modular systems, organs, pianos and current digital, analog, physical and virtual technology into her own cosmic, electronic expression.

Danniielle is also the owner and founder of Strange Attractor Records.

Jeff Evans Bio

Jeff began his career working in Canberra as an electronic engineer through the 70’s and playing drums every weekend for many Canberra bands. During that time he also developed an interest in recording sound effects for many theatre companies.

In 1980 he left full time employment and started out as a professional drummer. Jeff was introduced to electronic music by the keyboard player of a prominent Canberra band called ‘The Act’ while still drumming. Combining his electronic engineering experience which involved a lot of analog technology and drumming, and music, the obvious result was electronic music.

This began his intense desire to build his first version of the Jemusic Studio with very basic instruments and recording technology. He spent 4 years experimenting and crafting his own electronic music style. By the mid 80’s Jeff moved into composing soundtracks for theatre. This included dance, puppetry, and drama styles. At that time he also started producing many solo artists and bands, helping them realise their vision of producing CD’s. In the mid 80’s Jeff also studied a tertiary degree in Jazz at the Canberra School of Music on drums but taking piano as a second instrument.

During the 90’s and 2000’s and beyond, Jeff produced a wide range of original soundtracks for many television documentaries, commercial jingles, and some experimental films. He also continued to develop his own unique style of electronic music incorporating Jazz elements and world music sounds. He still played drums throughout this entire period and still plays drums today with over 55 years now of drumming experience. During this time he also moved into post production, mixing music, dialog, and effects for many video productions. He has a very strong interest in recording and collecting sound effects libraries.

The Jemusic Studio is in its 46th incarnation now and has undergone some massive changes along with the latest developments in technology. While still having a deep interest in past and older technology, he is current very excited about the latest trends in electronic music production. Currently he specializes in mixing and mastering other people’s songs and albums as well as continuing to develop his own unique style of electronic music.
